The Minister of Constitutional Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia H.E Abdurahman Hosh Jibril and his delegation who are currently in Garowe met with the President of Puntland H.E. Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gaas.
Minister Hosh thanked the President for the warm reception to his delegation.
“On behalf of my delegation, I would like to sincerely thank you for your pleasant reception and hospitality which encourages us to come back to this city” said Minister Hosh.
Minister Hosh and President Gaas discussed ways for the MoCA of the Federal Government to work with Puntland state.
“We are well aware of the tremendous exertion of Puntland State and its devotion to ensure the passing of the Provisional Constitution in August 1, 2012; and we have high hopes for the Puntland State to double its efforts and play a major role in the Constitutional Review Process Campaign which can only happen by strengthening the collaboration between the Ministry of Constitutional Affairs and the Puntland State” said Minister Abdirahman Hosh Jibril.
Finally, President Gaas thanked MoCA delegation for their visit and praised Minister Hosh and his staff for their selfless and tirelessly efforts to advance the Ministry’s mandated tasks as well as engage federal member states and other stakeholders in the constitutional review process. Further, President Gaas promised that Puntland will enhance its participation and collaboration on the Constitutional Review Process Campaign.
